Letting Agents Sanctions

Understanding the
new obligations

From 14 May 2025, letting agents will face new financial sanctions obligations, requiring thorough ownership, KYC, and sanctions compliance checks on landlords and tenants.

Failure to comply with these new regulations could result in substantial fines and even imprisonment. Additionally, non-compliance can lead to reputational damage and increased regulatory scrutiny, which can severely impact your business.
