Compliance at the click of a button. Property listings, automated. Conveyancing, accelerated.

What the new Coadjute platform does is already being described as “revolutionary” and “a game changer” by estate agents.

So what’s new, and why has it come with a bold new look to the brand?

Estate agents hold the keys to success

Let’s start with why estate agents are so important here. After all, there are other parties involved in a property transaction, and Coadjute is known as a technology that connects the market. If everyone can be a user of Coadjute, why are we now orientating so firmly towards estate agents?

One simple reason: estate agents drive the property transaction. An estate agent is there to help you list your property, there when you make an offer, and with you right up until you get the keys to your new home. No one works harder, and no one is more passionate about seeing the transaction succeed.

We believe estate agents are not only the heroes of the property transaction – too often unsung ones – but also uniquely placed to drive the property whole process. That’s why we are now putting the empowerment of estate agents at the centre of our business.

By serving their needs brilliantly, Coadjute can not only benefit the estate agents, but also all the other parties involved – not least the seller and buyer – who also want to see a faster, easier more reliable property deal.

Not just a technology. A service.

So what does it take to empower an estate agent?

We know traditional software alone won’t do what they need or solve the problems of the property market. In fact, we have seen over 700 proptechs come and go in the UK in the last 5 years, and yet deals are not quicker or more reliable than they were.

Why not? Well some software can be a help, but it is invariably too limited and too inflexible to take much work away from the estate agent, or actually speed up the process. There’s still a lot of work to do. For estate agents, using software can just feel like rummaging through a cluttered toolbox—grabbing one tool for this, another for that, only to realise you’re still missing the perfect fit and so need to do a lot of the job yourself. No wonder there is “Proptech fatigue”.

What is needed is something much broader than anything ever attempted before. A platform that is broad and deep enough to fully complete tasks that today estate agents have to do, not just help, but do it better with less work. Doing that isn’t easy, which is why it hasn’t been done before.

For a start, it has to involve the seller, the buyer and the conveyancer. It has to guide each of them through the work, providing them with all the tools and data they need at every stage. And the whole thing has to be beautifully seamless and effortless to use or it will just come back to the estate agent.

In short, someone would need to build the kind of service that truly makes estate agents’ lives easier, and the property market run better. Enter Coadjute.

The evolution of a revolution

Over the last six years, we have become one of most talked about companies in UK property technology. Last year, we received significant backing from Lloyds Banking Group, NatWest, Nationwide and Rightmove, who collectively bought into our vision for the property market.

So, what is behind the new Coadjute services?

First, the smooth, secure flow of data. We put our digital backbone for the property market live four years ago, integrating to CRMs and CMSs and connecting the multiple parties involved in a property transaction. It’s gratifying to see others now conducting pilots with open data standards to try and achieve the same but, as we have learnt, moving data is just the start.

Second, you need powerful capabilities that draw on that data. The property market is complicated, and the critical mass of functionality needed to make something properly useful is very high. Over the last few years, Coadjute has launched a series of market firsts: digital ID sharing, secure “WhatsApp” style messaging, Law Society accredited digital TA6 forms, and much more. These are the kinds of capabilities you need if you are to take the load off estate agents.

And third, the element that turns our new platform from “powerful” to “revolutionary”: you need the ability to guide all the parties involved through each of the processes required, seamlessly. Through the use of dynamically generated workflows, our new services don’t just help estate agents do part of the job, they work with them, their sellers and buyers and conveyancers. They mean you get the job done, effortlessly.

These new services, built on years of experience with our digital backbone and capabilities, are what we are unveiling today, starting with three new services:

  • Assured Compliance”, which relieves the burden of AML, improving compliance and generating a new income stream for your business.
  • Property List Ready”, which solves for Material Information regulations, ensuring a level of compliance not usually possible with data-only solutions.
  • Fast-Start Conveyancing”, which reduces the effort and time required before conveyancing starts, and provides a new way of working with conveyancers.

More than a new look

Sometimes, when a company updates their corporate brand, it really is just window dressing, an attempt to look new. At Coadjute, the change goes much deeper than that, and signifies a significant evolution of our business.

What started in 2018 as a digital backbone – a piece of technology – has now become a full-service platform. And the customers we now serve are not other technology companies, but the estate agents who drive the property deal and the sellers, buyers, conveyancers they want to connect with.

At heart, our rebrand represents our commitment to empower estate agents, and in doing so, to enable them to make the UK property market work better for everyone. It’s not just a new look, but a statement of intent. Coadjute is here to help.

And that is really what today’s announcement is all about. Our newly launched services build on the advanced technology we are famous for and put estate agents where they deserve to be: at the heart of driving change in the property market. They help estate agents do their job more comprehensively and easily than ever before, without switching, searching, or piecing things together. Coadjute’s new services just get the job done.

But don’t take our word for it, come and see how our new services work, and why pre-launch users are already calling Coadjute “revolutionary” and “a game-changer”.
