At the beginning of March, we announced a significant evolution of Coadjute, with a focus on empowering estate agents through three property services designed to transform the property transaction.
Today, we are announcing the next stage: we are building the UK’s first Property Super App, to be launched in the summer. In this blog, I’ll be explaining what that is, why we are doing it, and how estate agents can be the first to use it, even before the official launch.
Coadjute’s Super App – Bringing modern digital experiences to property
Here at Coadjute, we started asking why it is that home sellers and buyers can’t get the same modern digital experience they have when doing other things online, such as book a holiday? Why shouldn’t they? We realised that they should, they could, and we would bring it to them.
Booking a holiday is a good example of what we mean by a modern, digital experience. In the past, doing this online meant going to multiple separate websites. For each – airline, hotel, or even car rental booking – you’d have to enter the dates you were travelling, all your personal information, make individual payments and so on. It was laborious to do, and even worse if you needed to change or cancel, as you’d then have to deal with the admin from all those companies separately, time and time again.
Today, modern digital platforms like Lastminute.com strive for that mental load to be kept firmly in the past. You can make one booking and deal with one payment. They don’t replace the airline, hotel and car rental companies, of course, what they do is make working with them easier, and put it all in one place. It’s no surprise that they are popular given that by combining them all they can create a more logical and seamless experience for the consumer.
Just this month, The Times reported on the emotional strain many homebuyers are facing with one in three saying the mortgage process alone had a serious impact on their mental health. From missing paperwork to lack of updates and endless repetition, it’s a system crying out for change.
The Coadjute Super App is that change – built to transform the experience of moving home, and create trust, transparency and certainty for everyone involved.
One app for the whole transaction process
For sellers and buyers, navigating their property transactions can evoke the all-too-familiar frustration of how booking travel used to be. The need to deal with many different parties – estate agent, conveyancer, mortgage broker, lender, surveyor and so on – and submit the same information, and repeat the same checks, multiple times. Worse still, because a property move is so complex, it can be hard to know where you are in the process, and what to do next. It’s time we had a modern, digital experience for everyone. It’s time for the property market Super App.
That’s right, Coadjute are announcing our launch of the UK property market’s first Super App. Effortlessly guiding buyers and sellers through each stage of the home moving journey. It will provide information when you need it, prompt you when things need doing, and best of all, never ask you to do something twice. Throughout, you’ll know exactly where you are in your home moving journey, because everything you need will be in one place.
Coadjute can do this due to our unique technology, which connects all parties involved in a deal together and orchestrates a dynamic workflow. So, when an estate agent needs some information, it automatically appears as a task for the seller to complete. As the seller completes a form, the conveyancer can see the progress. When documentation is due from a buyer, a prompt appears. Everyone can work together seamlessly.
When is it available?
We’ll be launching our Super App this summer, with a select group of estate agents able to experience it in advance (see below). Following the launch, we will be extending its capabilities to include the process of getting a mortgage, and into other areas like insurance and even removals and home maintenance. In every case, the aim will be to empower the estate agent to give their sellers and buyers a great experience, without taking on a load more work themselves.
Our objective is that ultimately, everything a buyer and seller ever need to do in relation to a home move can be done in one place, all beautifully integrated, effortless, and led by their estate agent.
Super App early access
