    Coadjute is founded

When HM Land Registry invited bids to create a prototype for how the future of the property market could look, no one could have expected the winning idea to become a reality. But that’s exactly what happened: the “Digital Street” project was a huge success, and the people behind it founded Coadjute.

  2. 2019

    Built and tested pilot

The prototype was turned into a pilot, and 15 NatWest mortgage customers became the first people to explore what it would be like moving home if buyer, seller, estate agent, conveyancer, broker and bank were all on the same app. They loved it.

  3. 2020

The platform begins to come to life

Work started to build the live platform, backed with £3m of international venture funding. In parallel, the team started working with CRMs, CMSs, estate agents and conveyancers. To get the word out, Coadjute took over from Zoopla as the headline sponsors of the ESTAS Forum and Awards.

  4. 2021

    The network goes live

After 18 months of technical development the Coadjute network went live in July, and a 3-bed in Kent became the first property on the network. We decided to open source the data standards we’d developed for the industry, helping to start the move to open standards. To support growth, we landed a further £6m of venture funding.

  5. 2022

    Coadjute continues to grow

With numerous CRMs and CMSs connecting to the platform and a rapidly growing team, Coadjute was ranked as one of the most innovative companies in property and featured in The Financial Times. We sponsored a new “Working Together Better” award at The ESTAS, promoting collaboration between estate agents and conveyancers, and moved into new offices in the City of London.

  6. 2023

    Strategic projects and further fundraising

The Bank of England invited us to develop a prototype to demonstrate how funds and titles could be moved in future. It received international acclaim, and demonstrated the breadth of our capabilities. With increasing interest in the Coadjute platform, we released new features including digital identity sharing, and a more intuitive front end for users. Investors provided a further £4m to assist our progress.

  7. 2024

£10 million strategic investment in Coadjute

With the market-changing potential for our platform clear, Lloyds Banking Group, Nationwide, NatWest and Rightmove came together to back the next stage of our growth in a £10m round. We launched the first Law Society licensed Digital TA6, and the largest franchise group of estate agents in the UK, The Property Franchise Group, announced they were rolling out Coadjute. Work started on the latest generation of the platform, and the new look brand you see today.
